" Playing Card" pattern by Donna Westerkamp looks like a playing card.
If you are a fan of embroidery, red-work, or want more negative space for showing off your quilting, you may replace the Rail Fence blocks with a solid square. I've included the change to the fabric requirements for that option. 
The quilt can also be changed to two different colors like black and white.
